Communication

Living with animals provides a unique relationship.

As a physic for people and animals I find that having the ability to understand both humans and animals is very advantageous. When there are issues with an animal, its human is always involved.  Think about this. Your horse, dog, cat or any animal companion relies on you for everything: food, companionship, love, fun, exercise and much more.

Animals are more sensitive and attuned than humans, yet just like us, each one learns differently and thinks differently. Some can actually form sentences to ask questions or express emotions.

I recently used acupressure and communication with a beautiful bay horse named Felicity. The moment I walked into the stable she said the word “Calamity” and went on to explain that she fell in a trailer. She talked about how her nose was hurt but that it was better now. Her level of thinking and comprehension were both very advanced.

Some animals choose to share pictures with me. Ted, a springier spaniel who recently passed on, filled my mind with the color pink. His owner, who had asked how Ted was doing, affirmed that Ted had a favorite toy that was a pink dinosaur. Other animals communicate simple words of emotion such as, hurt, sad, happy, no, and yes.

What can we learn from communicating with our animals?

We can learn about physical issues such as pain, decreased mobility and loss of appetite. We can gain insight into behavioral problems such as aggression and excessive urination. We can address emotional displays of sadness, grief and detachment.

Communication allows us to find answers to questions such as:

  • Why is my horse skittish or not willing to perform as well as before?
  • What can be done to bring balance back to my animal?
  • How do my animals feel about me, their food and other animals?
  • How can I deal with the grief of a lost animal companion and learn to let go?

No matter how your animals communicate, they are trying to talk with you.

Are you listening?

I offer Communication at a distance for both living animal companions and those that have passed on. I am available for home visits in the Seattle region.
